BMO Establishes Institute for Applied Artificial Intelligence & Quantum
Bank of Montreal (BMO) has announced the establishment of the BMO Institute for Applied Artificial Intelligence & Quantum, a new enterprise-wide Centre of Excellence that will focus on responsible innovation, application, and governance of AI as well as development of quantum capabilities.

Dr. Kristin Milchanowski has been appointed Chief AI & Quantum Officer and Founding Director of the Institute. This role marks BMO's commitment to being at the forefront of technological development in both artificial intelligence and quantum technology.
