Jensen Huang: The AGI Era Has Arrived

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says we've reached artificial general intelligence. He said it publicly this week, and the market took note.

AGI has long been AI's holy grail. The definition varies wildly, which is exactly what Huang is exploiting. Without a clear standard, any player can declare victory when convenient — and that is precisely what is happening now.

Huang is not alone in this framing. Nvidia is in the middle of a historic growth period driven by AI chip demand. Declaring the AGI era open gives the company a narrative position no other hardware vendor can match.
