Nvidia GTC 2026: Jensen Huang on Stage with Next-Generation AI Infrastructure
GTC 2026 — Setting the Direction for Enterprise AI
Nvidia opens the GTC 2026 conference on March 16th in San Jose with CEO Jensen Huang's keynote to 39,000 attendees from 190 countries. The conference is expected to include next-generation AI infrastructure and processors, as well as an open-source platform for enterprise AI agents called NemoClaw. Huang has called AI "fundamental infrastructure" on par with electricity and the internet.
Relevance
GTC announcements set the direction for what will drive enterprise AI over the next 12–18 months.
My assessment
GTC is to AI infrastructure what Mobile World Congress is to telecom — this is where the premises are set. When Huang talks about an open enterprise AI agent platform, it means it becomes easier and cheaper to build internal agents without buying proprietary solutions. For the companies I work with, this is positive: a lower barrier to experimenting with AI in their own systems without committing to expensive platforms.
