Apple Testing Multi-Command Siri Powered by Gemini AI
Apple is working on a major Siri upgrade that lets users issue multiple commands in a single sentence. Instead of saying "Hey Siri" for each task, you could soon say something like "Check the weather, create a calendar event, and send a message" all at once.
The upgrade builds on a partnership with Google announced in January 2026. Gemini models will power core parts of Siri and Apple Intelligence features. MacRumors reported on March 31 that the multi-command feature is under active internal testing.
Apple is also developing a new "Extensions" system for iOS 27 that allows users to connect third-party AI chatbots like Gemini and Claude directly within Siri. This effectively turns Siri into an AI hub where users choose which model responds.
Everything is expected to be unveiled at WWDC on June 8, 2026, with a public launch in iOS 27 around September.
For enterprise users, this means Siri could finally become a real productivity tool. Multiple commands per sentence combined with AI model selection makes voice-driven work significantly more efficient.
