Apple sets WWDC 2026 for June 8–12 — promises AI advancements
Apple has confirmed that the Worldwide Developers Conference 2026 will take place June 8–12, both online and at its headquarters in Cupertino, California.
This year's conference is promised to feature «AI advancements» alongside updates to iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS.
It marks a clear shift in tone. At last year's WWDC, the focus was Apple's new «Liquid Glass» design language, with AI barely mentioned. This year, the company is expected to present real progress on the AI front — including a long-delayed revamped Siri.
Apple has found itself in a difficult position in the AI race. While OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic have surged ahead, Apple has had little to show. WWDC 2026 could be the moment the company tries to reclaim the initiative.
The conference will stream live on the Apple Developer app, Apple's website, and the Apple Developer YouTube channel.
